Cairo Amman Bank participated in the Palestine Green Expo 2025, which was held at the National Library Square – Surda/Ramallah over two days, organized by the Ministry of National Economy under the patronage of Prime Minister Mohammad Mustafa. The Expo witnessed wide participation from government institutions, the private sector, financial institutions, international partners, and more than 40 clean technology startups.

The Expo was organized under the Green Growth in Palestine (GGP) project, funded by the European Union and the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), and implemented by the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ) in partnership with the Ministry of National Economy. The event served as a key national platform to advance dialogue on sustainable development and the transition toward a green economy in Palestine.

Cairo Amman Bank’s participation included taking part in a specialized panel discussion titled
“Unlocking Green Investment Opportunities for Palestinian Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs).”
The session explored emerging opportunities for MSMEs, including investments in renewable energy, clean technologies, energy efficiency improvements, and access to new green market segments, while also addressing key challenges such as financing gaps, limited technical capacity, and the need for supportive regulatory and policy frameworks.

During the panel, Cairo Amman Bank outlined its strategic approach to supporting the green transition for MSMEs, which focuses on developing tailored green financing instruments aligned with investment and operational needs, integrating sustainability considerations into credit assessment processes, and expanding partnerships with development institutions and international organizations to provide blended finance solutions that support green initiatives with sustainable economic and environmental impact.

The Bank emphasized that its participation in the Expo aligned with its broader strategy to support the economy and enhance the growth potential of MSMEs by enabling the adoption of more sustainable business models and encouraging investment in innovation and clean technologies. This commitment also reflects Cairo Amman Bank’s ongoing support for Palestine’s green transition, its contribution to achieving sustainable and inclusive economic growth, and its role in strengthening MSMEs as a key driver of economic and social development.
