Registration steps:

  1. Search for the iDplus app on the Apple Store or Google Play, or visit the official website idplus.pma.ps to download it.
  2. Open the app and tap “New Registration.”
  3. Review the terms and conditions and accept them.
  4. Select the type of document you’ll use to create your digital identity.
  5. Enter your basic details (name, ID number, phone number).
  6. Take photos of your official document following the on-screen instructions.
  7. Complete identity verification via Face ID to finish registration securely.
  8. Once verification is complete, your digital financial identity is ready to use.

Linking steps:

  1. Make sure you’ve already created your digital identity via the iDplus app (as shown above).
  2. Open the Cairo Amman Bank app on your phone.
  3. Log in to your account, then go to the side menu.
  4. Under the Transactions section, select “Link with iDplus.”
  5. Read the terms and conditions and accept them.
  6. A one-time activation code will appear on your screen, and you’ll be asked to confirm the link through the iDplus app; open the request notification in iDplus, approve it, and enter the code shown on the screen.
  7. Confirm the process with Face ID or by matching the code to complete the linking successfully.
  8. Once linked, you can log in and approve your banking transactions directly using Face ID, with no password or verification code needed.

Once your digital identity is linked to the bank app, identity verification becomes an automatic part of any sensitive transaction, such as a money transfer. Here are the verification steps:

  1. Log in to the Cairo Amman Bank app as usual.
  2. Select the Money Transfer service and enter the transaction details (beneficiary, amount, source account, etc.).
  3. When you tap “Confirm” or “Send,” the app instantly sends a verification request to the iDplus app linked to your account.
  4. You’ll receive a push notification on the iDplus app showing the transaction details to be confirmed (amount, beneficiary, request time).
  5. Open the iDplus app and carefully review the transaction details to make sure they’re correct.
  6. Confirm the transaction using Face ID or by matching the code, verifying that you are indeed the one who initiated it.
  7. Once verification succeeds, the transaction is automatically completed in the bank app — no password or one-time verification code (OTP) needed.

Security note: If you receive a verification request on iDplus for a transaction you did not initiate, decline it immediately and contact the bank’s customer service.
